Loki and Sigyn [one shot][trade] *SPOILERS*
WARNING - THIS STORY CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM THOR: THE DARK WORLD.
Loki paced around the empty palace, his gaze cast along the very familiar halls that he had known since childhood. How different he viewed this place now. There had once been a time when he’d looked around in wonder and marvel as he imagined a day that this place might be his were he to become king. Now, he looked at them with the certain satisfaction that this place was his and he was king. It had certainly been the most extreme and roundabout way to acquire the throne, but it was his now, and no one even knew.
It hadn’t been his own fault that such a longing and desire had been placed in him. Odin had been the one to continuously feed him the lie that he was born to be a king. Had not those been his exact words on the day when the Allfather had taken the two young princes to the weapons vault as he told them the story of how he’d vanquished the Frost Giants? Loki clo

~DINNER WITH LOKI~
Leaving Stark Tower, you made your way back to your apartment, not in any sort of hurry as you repeatedly ran Hawkeye’s suggested plan through your mind. It seemed plausible, and it was better than yours, considering you had no plan whatsoever. The whole “sneak in and steal the scepter” part still worried you, but you felt that you were doubting when there was no need. Whatever skills you had learned in the past were still engraved in your mind and body. Combine that with all the magic and talents of a rogue that Loki that taught you – you could make a very promising thief.
You got back to your apartment not too long later, and as you opened the door and came inside, you found Loki in the kitchen, at the
Wanted [Magnus Martinssion One Shot]
Ash turned down the street near her apartment, walking as fast as she could without running the risk of slipping on the slick, wet pavement. It had been a brutal, horrid day and all Ash wanted now was to get home and relax. Not that she was sure she could relax once she got there.
Her problems had started in the morning, waking up after yet another night of very little sleep. For about the past week, Ash was lucky if she could get at least five hours of sleep. She had arrived late to work, and for whatever reason, Lisa had decided to chew her out over it. From there, Ash went straight to work, struggling to stay awake and focus. She had a headache for a good part of the day, and just overall felt run down. The only silver lining of her work that day is that Kurt Wallander hadn’t gotten on her case about anything, but then again she rarely did any work with him.
When at last Ash’s long day of work ended, she walked out to her car onl

~MISTLETOE AND MISCHIEF~
Loki and your timing for returning to Manhattan had been rather perfect, having just missed the Thanksgiving holiday, which would have just been absolute chaos to have gone through. Loki and you stayed around the apartment for most of the time, going out here and there and just wandering around the city on whatever whim you desired. There was a certain, unique pleasure of this time you spent with Loki. He was completely laid back, which was something you hadn’t seen much of until now, and he seemed…content. It wasn’t a bad thing – far from it. It was just so…different. This was the first time that you really felt that you and Loki were more than just companions on the same mission. For the first time, you real
Just One Dance - Steve Rogers One Shot
New York City, shortly after The Avengers
Steve Rogers pulled his coat over his shoulders as he stepped out onto the street. It was a lively night in the city, which was something he was still growing accustomed to. Stark was the one who had convinced him to go out tonight. He had insisted that a night of fun and parties would be good for him. “A night on the town” now was certainly nothing like what he was used to. What was considered to be “music” was just a lot of loud racket to him. He was still trying to adjust to this new life, and it was proving to be quite a challenge.
Steve sighed heavily as he walked down the sidewalk, his hands in his pockets. He disliked being alone like this. Then again, why would anyone want to be alone? The world he knew was gone. Only a small part of it remained in the people that now lived here.
As he walked, Steve found himself in a part of the city he was not familiar with, which was surprising. Despite all

You glanced left and right with a wary expression on your face. Your eyes scanned every inch of the room, half-expecting to see some sort of ghostly figure or shadow of sorts lurking about. As you reached for the remote to your television, it fell off of the arm of the couch. You jumped up onto the plush seats and brandished the metal baseball bat in your sweaty hands.
“Come out!” You commanded. Your voice held much more confidence than you actually had. Your eyes darted from left to right as you searched for the specter. You let one hand drop from the bat so that you might wipe the sweat off of your palm onto your pants leg. As you did so, something cold and moist brushed against your neck, causing you to shiver violently from head to toe. You turned and as you did so, your feet became entangled and you fell backwards, off of the couch. You squeezed your eyes shut, expecting a sharp pai
